Wow….what a weekend!

The 50 year Anniversary of Marge’s Lakeside Inn was truly celebrated in style! We wanted to “do it right” to THANK all of YOU (all of our loyal customers and friends) for your support all these years and for being part of the Marge’s “family” ~ it truly means the world to us!

I’m still working on the pictures and I’ll have them up as soon as I catch up, but I wanted to THANK everyone who helped us make this a spectacular event!

First of all, I’d like to thank my Mom (Fran) for giving me “free reign” for this and for having all the faith in the world in me to pull it off (even when I thought there was no way we could do it). XO

Marty, for endless hours of help, support and for putting up with all of my “craziness” in preparation for this party. XO

Eric & Kevin for all the years you have devoted to this little place we call “home”. XO

John Larkin (photography) for getting all those pictures (over 1,000) into a slide show and all the fun of the photo booth! Priceless!
Nancy Goethel (balloon lady) for her amazing creativity, generosity and hard work in making the incredible decorations! (thanks to Brian also!)

Courtney and everyone at Sully’s Catering for all the yummy delights!

The Hi-Risers (Jason, Greg & Todd) for two nights of rocking the house with your “Rock n Roll Beat”!

I’d also like to thank everyone who sent/brought cards, flowers & gifts to commemorate the special occasion.

I’m hoping that I remembered everyone, but my apologies if something slipped my mind. It was a long weekend…. : )


We are SO blessed that Margie had the vision to buy that little bar 50 years ago and that my Dad (Ron) was the incredible man that he was. My Mom and I are very thankful (with all of your help) that we’ve kept Marge’s on the map and we look forward to the next FIFTY years! : )
